Join NextStep Kansas City for the 9th annual Crafts & Shafts Charity Scramble! This year's tournament will take place at The Bluffs Golf Club, at The National, and will benefit NextStep Kansas City's efforts to make Activity-Based Recovery services, for people living with paralysis, as affordable and accessible as possible.

The interventions that are available at NextStep are not supported by traditional health insurance, or other funding assistance programs, leaving many people with paralysis unable to utilize them. Successful fundraisers, such as the Crafts & Shafts Scramble, help us maintain the highest level of training and allow us to offer some of the most advanced equipment needed to stay up to date with the latest research. More importantly, they help us subsidize the costs associated with the program, making our interventions available to more people.

NextStep Kansas City cannot uphold its mission without dedicated support from the community. Everyone that participates in this charity golf tournament becomes a part of a movement toward better access to long-term recovery options for people living with paralysis.

This membership gets you access to: Seven nationally ranked courses designed by master architects. No green fees, cart fees, or reciprocal play arrangements, Onsite cottages in various sizes per club, with four master suites, fireplace, fully stocked bar, and private patio and firepit, Regionally inspired, seasonal farm-to-course menus and a creative cocktail program to be enjoyed at the clubhouse, in a private dining space, or at your cottage. Tee times spaced at least 15 minutes apart ensure a relaxed pace of play and excellent turf conditions throughout the year. Full member privileges at each club, with no cart fees or reciprocal play arrangements. Take your time—it'll feel like your own private course.

After a couple rounds and dinner at the clubhouse, there’s no reason to leave the property—just retire to your private cottage. Each cottage features four master suites and a common area with a fully stocked bar and private patio—the perfect spot for team building, family time, or a private retreat.
